Art for Impact raised 53k. Here is where it goes.

Wednesday's “Art for Impact“ auction at Karl & Faber opened with 29 donated works and special experiences from 27 artists, among them Markus Lüpertz, Rolf Sachs, Robert Janitz, and Ingeborg zu Schleswig-Holstein. With Philipp von Württemberg at the podium, the evening raised an incredible €53,300, money that will help fund three medical shipments to Ethiopia, Syria, and Ukraine with a combined value of more than €1 million.

All three countries have seen their healthcare systems severely strained by years of armed conflict. The shipments will be part of our ongoing work in each of these regions. As Aid Pioneers since 2022, we have shipped 53 containers to these countries, with an in-kind value of over €16.7 million in medical supplies.

Wednesday was the third auction in a series. The Hamburg auction funded the solar installation at Idlib University Hospital, with 128 kWp now powering Syria's largest neonatal ICU, alongside a medical container that arrived last month. The Berlin auction funded the solar system for Karat Primary Hospital in Ethiopia, which serves an area of more than 700,000 people and is currently on its way.

We will keep sharing how it unfolds. For now, thank you to every artist who donated a work, every guest who placed a bid, and everyone who helped make the evening happen. Thank you also to Engel & Völkers for their support, and to Karl & Faber for hosting us.

The works were donated by Mehmet & Kazim Akal, Frank Brechter, Sarice Brudet, Ugo Dossi, Julian Faulhaber, Johanna-Maria Fritz, Susi Gelb, Marie & Feline Grub, Esra Gülmen, Florian Huber, Helen Hu, Robert Janitz, Felix Kiessling, Markus Lüpertz, Linou Meyer, Thomas Müller, Anna Nezhnaya, Rolf Sachs, Nadine Schemmann, Chris Succo, Nata Togliatti, Amalia Valdes, Martin Werthmann, Sinta Werner, Sophia Wilm, Ingeborg zu Schleswig-Holstein, and Siegward Sprotte.
