Medical Aid to Syria
Working with our Syrian partner Hand in Hand for Aid and Development (HIHFAD), Aid Pioneers delivered a 40-ft container of medical supplies to seven healthcare institutions across Syria. The container held supplies worth $179,783, which amounted to 74,849 individual medical items once distributed, enabling an estimated 3,525 acute care bed days. The map below shows the current status of the distribution.
Several partners made this shipment possible.
humedica and Kastenman Stiftung provided the majority of the funding, which allowed Aid Pioneers to, manage procurement and lead the reporting. Project C.U.R.E. handled the export, SEKO coordinated the shipping before HIHFAD carried out the distribution locally.
Each step depended on the last, and together they reflect a shared commitment to keep healthcare access moving forward in Syria.
