Aid Pioneers handles the operational heavy lifting so your organisation can focus on what it does best. We partner with some of the most effective nonprofits to help them reduce their project and operational costs — working with international companies that offer NGO discounts, which allow us to implement projects at significantly lower costs than commercial partners.

Reaching the facilities that need it most

Together with our partners, it is our mission to ensure that no patient goes untreated and no student goes untaught due to a lack of medical supplies or electricity. We work closely with a host of local and international NGOs in Subsaharan Africa, the Middle East and Ukraine to ensure that high quality solar and medical equipment reaches even the most remote social facilities.

Solar solutions for schools and hospitals

Our job is to overcome the obstacles that prevent schools and hospitals from switching to solar energy.
We plan and implement solar projects to offer other nonprofits a one-stop solution, providing the following services →

Technical planning


Aid Pioneers' solar engineering team helps with the entire process – from data collection to the final design.

Procurement


Aid Pioneers sources A-level equipment from a network of two dozen international suppliers offering us the components at highly discounted rates. This allows us to deliver significantly higher quality products with long warranties at a fraction of local costs. Moreover, we are experienced at importing the equipment into some of the most challenging customs regimes such as Ethiopia, Chad or Syria.

Financing


Aid Pioneers provides financial analysis and modelling support to help our partners make informed decisions about solar systems. To support budget-constrained partners, short-term interest-free repayment schedules and long-term low-interest loans of up to ten years at 3% can be offered.

Remote monitoring & impact measurement


Aid Pioneers remains a reliable non-profit partner even after installation and provides long-term remote monitoring of internet-connected solar systems without additional costs.

Quality medical goods for underserved clinics

Our job is to provide hospitals in need with access to large quantities of high quality medical goods and drugs.
We do that by providing the following services →

Procurement


Aid Pioneers partners up with the world's biggest suppliers of donated medical supplies, which allow us to source hand-picked medical equipment, consumables and medication in 40ft. containers at around 5% of their actual market value.

Shipping


Aid Pioneers' network of international shipping companies provides us with the means to transport medical goods, often at a heavily reduced cost or even free of charge.

Last mile delivery


Aid Pioneers partner up with highly effective local organizations that allow us to reach some of the world's most remote health care facilities. If needed, we can also deliver directly to the health care facilities of our international partners.

  • We help nonprofits reduce the cost and complexity of implementing solar energy systems and delivering medical supplies to underserved communities across Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and Ukraine. Acting as a technical and logistical partner, Aid Pioneers connects organisations with discounted equipment, international shipping networks, and local delivery infrastructure.

  • We work with registered nonprofits and NGOs delivering health or education services in low-resource settings. Although our current programmes are concentrated in Sub-Saharan Africa, the Middle East, and Ukraine, we welcome enquiries from organisations working in other regions and are always open to exploring new opportunities.

  • Aid Pioneers operates as an implementation partner rather than a funding body. Although we don't generally provide direct project funding, our network and expertise allow us to execute solar and medical projects at significantly lower cost than most organisations could achieve on their own.   • The process covers technical planning and system design, procurement from vetted international suppliers, customs clearance in challenging import environments such as Ethiopia, Chad, and Syria, and long-term remote monitoring after installation. Aid Pioneers manages each stage directly, so partners don't need separate vendors for engineering, sourcing, and logistics.

  • Working with major donated medical supply organisations, we procure equipment, consumables, and medication in 40-foot containers at roughly 5% of standard market value. Every shipment is curated to match the partner's actual supply needs rather than bulk-assigned.
